This two-piece set from ‘A HAPPI PLACE’ 2023 Style edit is made from plush light corduroy and cut as a loose fit for your comfort and style. The design aptly named WAR-NO-MORE takes its inspirations from the Adinkra symbol ‘Sankofa’ which translates ‘look at the past to inform the future. The beautiful continent of Africa has had conflicts and war in times past and sadly some in this present day, when we look at it all in retrospect, there’s no gain nor beauty from war.. hence ‘SANKOFA’. The buttons on the sleeves and pants are intended as beaten-flat bullets repurposed for more positive uses, taking its cue from The Book Of Isaiah “They shall beat theirs swords into pruning hooks; nations shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war no more”
